Industry Sponsored Fees

Dear Research Community,

As a part of the Northwestern University IRB Office’s continued support of the research enterprise, and to help fund services provided by the IRB, the IRB Office charges fees to review industry sponsored research.  The current fees were implemented in 2011, and the Office is announcing the updated fee schedule.  The updated fee schedule reflects extensive benchmarking of similar institutions conducting human research, and aligns at or below the national average.

All new industry sponsored studies submitted in eIRB+ on or after September 1, 2021, will be subject to the new fee schedule.
