In observance of Northwestern University’s Winter Recess, the Institutional Review Board (IRB) Office will be closed beginning Wednesday, December 24, 2025, and will resume standard operations on Friday, January 2, 2026. 

Important information on the emergency use of a test article can be found on the Emergency Use webpage. Please note that while prior notification is not required for a single use, a report to the IRB must be submitted within five (5) working days of the initial emergency use.
